Effective: August 28, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Sukoon iOS app. Sukoon helps you rest distracting apps at prayer time and build a daily Qur'an habit, on your own or with your family. We do not require you to create an account. Family features run through your own iCloud, not our servers. Prayer times are calculated estimates and app shielding depends on iOS, so Sukoon is a support for your intention, not a guarantee. Some features require a paid subscription billed by Apple. You can delete the app at any time.
By accessing or using the Sukoon iOS app and related in-app services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and NUNE LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Sukoon"), a Wyoming limited liability company.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to set up Sukoon, purchase a subscription, or agree to these Terms on your own behalf. By using Sukoon in that capacity you represent that you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
Sukoon includes a child role intended for use by a minor on the minor's own device. If you set up a device for a child, you represent that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or that you are otherwise authorised to supervise their device, and you agree to these Terms on their behalf as well as your own. You are responsible for the policies you set, the requests you grant, and for supervising your family's use of the Service.
If you downloaded Sukoon from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. These Terms supplement Apple's terms. Apple is not responsible for the Service, its content, maintenance, support, warranties, claims, or legal compliance, except as required by Apple's applicable terms.
Sukoon's app-shielding features are built on Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks and require your authorization, which Apple controls and which you can withdraw at any time in iOS Settings. Sukoon's family-pairing features require an Apple Account with iCloud enabled on each paired device, and store the shared data inside those accounts. Availability, behaviour, and continuity of these Apple frameworks are determined by Apple, not by us.
Sukoon is a habit and intention tool. It is not a security product, a supervision guarantee, or a substitute for your own judgment or attention.
Sukoon's family features let paired devices exchange policies, unlock requests, and prayer and reading progress. If you use them:
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe it is being used for covert surveillance or other abuse.
You retain ownership of the content you create in Sukoon, including trail notes, the names and avatars you choose, and the text of unlock requests. This content is stored on your device and, for family features, in the participants' own iCloud accounts. We do not host it, do not claim rights in it, and do not use it to train models or for any purpose other than operating the features you use.
You are responsible for the content you enter and for making sure it is lawful and appropriate for the family members who will see it.
You may not use the Service to:
Sukoon includes Qur'an text and Arabic typefaces bundled within the app for personal reading. Those fonts are provided under their own licences, which are included with the app. The Qur'an text is provided for personal devotional use; we make no warranty that any rendering, transliteration, or presentation is free of error, and it should not be relied upon as an authoritative published mushaf. If you believe any bundled content is presented incorrectly, please tell us at contact@nunellc.com.
The Service relies on third-party services, including Apple (App Store, iCloud, CloudKit, Screen Time, push notifications), RevenueCat for subscription management, and PostHog for analytics and error monitoring. Their terms and privacy practices may apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by law.
Some features require a paid Sukoon subscription. Subscription options, including title, duration, price, any introductory or free-trial period, renewal terms, and included features, are shown before purchase in Apple's in-app purchase flow. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.
Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Refunds, billing, and cancellation are handled by Apple, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
A subscription purchased by one member may unlock paid features for the paired devices in that family for as long as it remains active. If it lapses, paid features may become unavailable on those devices.
If you believe content in or associated with the Service infringes your rights, contact us at contact@nunellc.com with enough information for us to review the issue, including your name, contact information, a description of the rights at issue, and the allegedly infringing material.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of prayer times, or uninterrupted or error-free operation of app shielding or family sync.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sukoon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, including any loss arising from a shield that did not apply, a shield that did not clear, a missed prayer time, or a family message or request that was delayed or not delivered. Our aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (A) amounts you paid in the six (6) months before the claim, or (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may stop using the Service at any time by unpairing your devices and deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to in order to comply with law or protect users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by reasonable means, such as through the app or by updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Export & sanctions: Do not use the Service in violation of export control or sanctions laws.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Controlling language: These Terms are published in English and in translation. The English version is the operative text and prevails in the event of any conflict or difference in interpretation.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Sukoon for the Service.
